A 48-year-old Texarkana woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly hitting a 75-year-old woman in the face at a Subway on Richmond Road last month.
According to an affidavit, Tracy Lashon Williams had caused disturbances earlier in the day at other local restaurants, including Whataburger on New Boston Road and Golden Corral on Sowell Lane. Police say she struck the elderly woman while she was standing in line. The victim reportedly used her walking cane to create distance before Williams fled.
An officer recognized Williams from earlier encounters that day. She is being held in the Bowie County Jail on $25,000 bond.
If convicted of injury to an elderly individual, she faces two to ten years in prison.
