Texarkana, Texas Police are asking for the public’s help locating 30-year-old Freddie Miller, who is wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery Tuesday afternoon on Bowie Street.
According to police, an elderly couple had just pulled into a convenience store parking lot when they accidentally bumped a parked car belonging to Miller. After a brief conversation, the situation turned violent.
Investigators say Miller reached into the couple’s vehicle and attempted to take cash from a 73-year-old man. When the man resisted, Miller allegedly struck him several times in the face and took the money. He then grabbed the wife’s purse before fleeing the scene.
The purse was later found in the street, but the cash was missing. Police tracked Miller’s vehicle, a Ford Fusion, to his home using surveillance video, but he was not there.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Texarkana Police or Crime Stoppers.
